How To Help

Thank you for your interest in Huron's Youth Population. There are many opportunities for you to assist.

Become a Volunteer

The success of Safe Homes is directly linked to our dedicated volunteers. To become a Safe Home Family (provide short-term emergency shelter within your home) or if you are interested in becoming a member of our Board of Directors, please contact the Agency at 1-800-361-1640.

Donations

At present Huron Safe Homes for Youth functions on a Budget of less than $148,000 a year. Approximately 70% of Safe Homes funding is provided by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services.Without the generous financial support the Agency receives from The Huron United Way, The United Church of Canada, The County of Huron, and Individual Donations, meeting the needs of our rural youth would not be possible.

Please forward donations to:
	P.O.Box 563
	Goderich, Ontario
	N7A 4C7

Safe Homes is a Non-Profit, Registered Charity.A tax receipt will be issued.

Fundraising on our behalf

Attention Service Clubs, Church Groups, and Social Clubs! By holding an event in which the proceeds are donated to Safe Homes, your efforts will directly support Huron's Youth Population. Please contact our office PRIOR to your event so that we may offer any necessary assistance and extend our appreciation.
