Huron Safe Homes for Youth is a voluntary, confidential service for youth (age sixteen to their eighteenth birthday) and their families/caregivers in Huron County.  There is no cost to individuals accessing this service.

How do I contact the Agency to request support or make a referral?

• Initial point of contact is via the Agency’s answering service (1-800-361-1640) or by email (safe.homes@sympatico.ca).
• All incoming calls/services requests are responded to by the end of the business day.

How are services delivered?

• Regular hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 9am – 5pm (after hours appointments are available upon request).
• Caseworkers commute to schools, client homes, and satellite offices throughout the county to meet with youth/families/caregivers.
